As a teacher, Suren Petrosyan has extensive experience both in Armenia where he received special nomination for ‘The Best Teacher of the Year’, and here in Michigan, where he has been teaching cello at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, at Marshall Music, and in his private studio. Currently his youngest student is 5 years old, and the oldest is 79 years old.

Suren Petrosyan, Cellist, holds Master’s Degree in Orchestral Conducting Doctorate in Cello Performance from Michigan State. Originally from Armenia, he started his first music lessons at the age of 5, dedicating his entire life to music since then. He is an active cello performer, music teacher and conductor. He has performed as a cellist and conductor throughout Europe, notably at the Bach International Festival in Leipzig, Germany, in Canada, and United States.
